Ug! I want it but I have no space left.
That is a nice car. It was owned for many years (more than 30 years) by a Potomac Region member and was at many of the Capitol Cadillac shows.
Nice car!
Okay I've been thinking about parting ways with my 66 Toronado after having to repair a torque converter issue on her. While she's fixed and still pretty as ever the lack of spare parts for these cars has me thinking its time.
If so I'm seriously thinking of this. She's pretty, matches the top color of my 59, and all around a nice car.
Tim,
The '48 looks to be a stand out... and, far less mechanically challenging when compared with the Toronado. A thorough inspection with special concern being that it's so old-- transmission and engine seal leaks, does it have hydraulic power windows and radio antenna? Condition of the radiator, engine cooling water jackets, engine compression/blowby, rubber parts, etc. Over-all concern: avoiding heartbreak! Please keep us in the loop if you go for an inspection. James
Its a pretty car but needs some TLC in spots. I'm going to give it some thought but as of now its still for sale.
