Title: WTB 1940/1941 cadillac/buick coupe trunk lid
Post by: johnwalker on January 02, 2017, 02:54:21 PM
I need a decent lid that's not rotted along the bottom. It's the long one with a rounded bottom edge. Cad and Buick large body coupe and convertible, basically the same other than emblem holes. Also need a pair of trunk extender supports that actually latch and hold in the open position. Thanks, John Walker Seattle, 206789 six800

I suppose you have seen the one on eBay? Its a bit toasty on the bottom edge sadly.  Do we dare hope there's one in Bob Hoffmans stash? :D

Hi  ...johnwalker.....Dont know how much you want to pay for it....My situation was I needed one for my 41 Caddy...took 3 years to find one..very hard to find....paid $700 for it 2 years ago...It was rusty along the bottom ...inside and out and needed a fabrication repair......budget $500 and get it repaired...I doubt you will find one that is not affected with rust of some sort...regards   Doug

Well, I have one coming from Minnesota that's basically mint, as long as the shipper doesn't kill it.
