Hello all, I thought I'd share my latest project, a one-family 61 deVille with factory air and 31k showing on the clock-the condition of the interior and dealer-installed floor mats would have me believe the mileage is legit. The last registration ran out in 1987, so second order of business (first was my membership in CLC) is to get the seized engine freed up. (see my comments in a related thread) This is my second Cadillac, the first a 1972 Coupe deVille I sold back in 84. So far I've learned a lot, picked up an original 1961 Shop Manual, and look forward to gathering more and more info along the way.
I love taking things that are considered broken, worn out, landfill fodder, etc. and bringing them back to life. This will be my most ambitious project by far. It is not a question of "if" its "when" will the car be back on the road...

Nice colors and loaded. And even a De Ville. Good luck with this project!
