It looks quite nice and it is rare to find one in this unaltered condition. (Just passing along the "lead.")

Will someone please explain why people feel the need to obscure the license plate in photos of cars for sale online?  First of all it’s extremely difficult to “run” a tag to see who owns a car unless you are in law enforcement and have a good reason. Secondly you are advertising the car for sale not hiding it from a finance company.  I just don’t get it.

Me-toosim.  Some idiot did it a few years ago and someone else thought it was cute to put their "finger" in the area where the license plate is and then it snowballed.  Kind of like whoever thought up the phrase "Barn Find" should be shackled to a chair and forced to watch barn find ads for days!

As for the car, I don't know anybody that will put up 18 large for a 5 photo C.L. ad.  Looks like an archival quality car but if given a year - and the old 'free' CL format I could find about 10 of these for no more than $7,000.  If this one is truly nice, and if someone must scratch that 1980 Seville itch, I guess $9K?

That price is insane but it is a pretty car.

I would be thrilled to death to get 1/2 of that price for the '81. In fact, I would "probably" be willing to have it delivered to your door. It has a few more miles, but since I've been driving it over the weekend with the '91 in the shop, it is so quiet and just plain "cool" to operate. It does take a second to remember where the wiper switch is...Darn rain.
