Would someone by chance happen to have a picture of what the felt washer is supposed to look like for the oil pump pick-up where the strainer meets the actual pump?  All I am finding online are rubber O-rings.  Greatly appreciated.

From recollection it is a square profile, and is felt so that the pickup can move up and down, as these were floating up until 1960.

An "O" Ring could turn it into a solid pickup.

This is what it looks like on the oil pickup.  This is the old felt washer—unfortunately, I don't have a picture with the new washer installed.
