Guys,
A friend needs 2 of these. Please note they are LH thread. Anyone have a source for new ones.
Thanks, Bob
Bob,
Hi. These were discontinued many years ago from the manufacturers. Dorman carried these for years after, but were also discontinued carrying Part# 610-135. I know Mopars (50's to late 60's) and Jeeps (mid 40's to early 50's) also used these. It never made any sense to me, only caused confusion. Obviously, the theory of lugs nut possibly coming loose while driving has long been proven wrong. Hunt around, but why not just make it easy on yourself and convert to all RH studs and be done with it. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Bob,
Thanks for your fast & informative answer. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. The studs he needs are for a 59 commercial chassis. They are different from the other chassis. The Cadillac parts book shows them as 56 to 59 only. Anyone else??
Bob
Bob,
Hi. Tell me how many LH threaded studs you need. I can get them locally for you.
Bob
Bob,
My friend located some from a vendor & ordered them this AM. He really appreciates your help.
Thanks, Bob
Care to share the contact info for this vendor? Tx.
Commercial chassis was designed for a loaded rate, a casket and/or gurney. Since it is a show car and not in service with possibly an extra half ton on the rear axle, two standard lugs probably wouldn't make the car undrivable.
Just a thought.
Guys,
Here's the status. My friend ordered them from Cad King late last week. He has not received them as yet. He will tell me if they are correct as soon as he receives them.
