Title: Window Sticker Freight Charge
Post by: jagbuxx #12944 on April 05, 2009, 12:03:45 PM
Hello All-

I am in the process of recreating the window sticker for my '76 Coupe. I was hoping someone
would be able to check what the freight charge was to Denver.....
Thanks if anyone can help!

What model and where was it built--Linden, NJ; Detroit or Southgate, CA?

Ooops,
Sorry,
'76 Coupe deVille from Detroit.
The info I have been able to gather was that the charge for shipping was calculated at approximately $.20/mile at that time.
I just was wondering if anyone had a sticker from '76, even another GM car would work.
Thanks

I wonder if they still shipped by rail at that time?  I'm sure they probably did.

Was the $.20 rate for train, truck or both?

I think this is one for Tom Hall.
