In the September 2023 issue of the Standard of The World newsletter:

Page 1. A beautiful 2006 Cadillac STS with 4.6 Northstar.  When was the last time you saw an STS cruising on the streets?

Page 2. First Saturday Breakfast Social and unofficial meeting. Next one September 2nd  and then October 7th at 9:00a.m. at Darran's, 7602 N. Jupiter Road, Garland, TX.   The restaurant is on the southeast corner of Jupiter and lookout.  Come on down for breakfast and some socializing with friends.

Page 3. An information page about the Pontiac Southern Nationals.  We at NTX are good friends with the Pontiac Clubs.

Page 4. The Wheels for Wellness event in Ft. Worth.  In the past this was a great show and the hosts say it should be as good. 

Page 5. The Buick Olds Pontiac Cadillac Show. October 28th.  NTXCLC plans to have a club group there.

Page 6. All about the CLC Grand National in Gettysburg, PA.  It will be a big one and we need judges for the field on Friday. Lots of exciting things to do, so make plans.  Get your Wyndham reservation NOW. The rooms are disappearing fast.

Page 7. Activities Calendar, more of our advertisers, our popular North Texas Region logo club items; and Digital 3 Printing (they print our newsletter).  Also, our officers and directors, and Sunshine Report.

Pages 8-10.  Alex Beloff III's Article on William L. "Bill" Mitchell's Dream Cars.

Page 11. Advertisement, Classifieds, and Membership Report. 

Page 12. The unique car I saw while on vacation in Iceland. Very interesting.

It's never been wrecked and has always been stored in the garage.  Tires have approx 5,000 miles on them The car is suspected water leak on heads, so it will over heat when driven just a few miles.
