We all know the role of Forum Moderators and Webmaster.

Curious what is the role of someone here indicated as Administrator?

It seems to me that the Tassie DeVille is the ONLY moderator and administrator.  The others are listed as administrators but rarely get in the middle of things.

Because of the time difference, much of the time TD gets the job done before we even wake up in North America. An example was the recent topic

New Rarely witnessed embolism viagra transrectal palm

... which he deleted and banned before we knew it was there.

The general public really has no idea how much Moderation goes on here...

I think it's rather nice that someone, ten thousand miles away, takes the time out of his day, usually every day, to work with us. I wonder why? It can't be because of the "big bucks."

I'm sure he'd love to be at the GN to meet and greet some of you, but it's a little hard to do when your health is not 100% and it takes quite a bit of $$$ to travel half way around the world.

Hang in there. Those "administrators" that don't seem to do much have been working hard on some things that I think some of you might be quite pleased about.

Agree! Well said Barry. Thank you to the Administrators and Moderators. They are unsung heroes in the Forum. Clay/Lexi

Yes, thank you to the administrators/moderators.  But,...The OP's question was what are the individual tasks the administrator(s) are responsible for? What is the difference between an administrator and a moderator and a webmaster?

The webmaster is responsible for technical operation of the forum only and doesn't get involved with moderation issues. Those are handled by moderators and/or administrators.
