Shortly I am going to fix an issue with my 1937 346 engine and as I've not done the before I have some questions:
1. Which head gasket works the best and who sells them.
2 Do you use any type of gasket sealer, grease or nothing?
3. Any other things I should look out for.
4. I think I have a piston or pin problem. so who sell the best stuff.

Terrill Machine in Texas has many engine parts for sale for Thirties to Seventies Cadillac engines. Bearings, gaskets, timing components and water pumps for 1936 and newer Cadillacs are in their inventory, and Terrill Machine can supply you with tune-up parts, wheel bearings, motor mounts and engine paint in the original colors as well.

I agree with Jeff about Terrill Machine. I have always been satisfied with their products. As far as a sealent for the head gaskets Permatex makes an excellent one called Hi Tack which is a spray on thin coat sealer. Keep us posted and Good Luck,     Harry
