Planning to add A/C to my 51 Coupe DeVille. The 331 engine should carry the extra load of the Sanden 508 compressor but I need your suggestion as to where to locate and mount the compressor bracket. Have any of you added A/C to your 331 engine? Do you have photos of where you mounted the brackets? Does anyone have an old A/C bracket I could modify to fit the Sanden unit? Will the single belt work okay or should I add a double belt pulley? Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. I sure could use some good photos pinpointing the bracket placement.
