I am looking for a source for the original perforated and embossed leather seat insert panels used on the 1964 eldorado convertible. Also, does any one know the correct name for this type of leather, who originally sourced it for Cadillac and the specification for it (embossed pattern, spacing of perforation, type of dye/finish, etc. I am restoring a 64 with a rare color combo and want to get the correct material. I have some photos of the seats that I can e-mail if it helps.

Thanks.

When I needed leather for a 66 convertible I was restoring I found that Jenkins in North Wilksboro NC could replicate the leather with the perforation and the embosed basket weave pattern.  It was quite expensive, but identical to the original that I removed from the car.
