It's time to restore my '55's steering wheel. Does anyone have a shop recommendation, or other pertinent advice?
Thanks,
JR

Second vote here for Gary - he's been around since the early '80s.  Just had mine done for the '75 Cad late last year - Texted him pics and he quoted a price.  Sent it out and within a few weeks it came back concours quality with flawless deep black finish and a new woodgrain insert; you cannot tell it from brand new.

Best of luck!

I used Dennis at Quality for my '49. It was excellent.

Dennis Crooks at Quality is the way to go if you want it to look original he is one of the few guys that actually recasts the wheel as original , most of the guys like garys just fill the cracks and paint  the wheels.
