Am I seeing this right. Is that a hydraulic clutch linkage? The clutch on my 38 is so smooth and perfect now that I have restored everything, I can't imagine the reason for the complexity of hydraulics.

Joe,

The brake master cylinder was moved from under the floor on your car to just ahead of the firewall on later cars.  No clutch hydraulics.

Ahh ok, I wasn't sure. I am familiar with technical drawings but this one. sheesh.

Like I said, and I am sure you agree, the clutch feels fantastic. I have driven many cars with manual transmissions. The worst I have ever driven was just last year. We rented a car in Mexico, it was called a Dodge but was actually a Hyundai. I couldn't even tell I was pushing the clutch. It was 100% off to 100% on in about a distance of 1/4 inch.
