I needed a Mercury switch for the glovebox on my 40 lasalle and could not find one so I went to a local electronics supply company and they had generic ones for a couple bucks and it works fine.
Kim, I have the small mercury switch and cardboard sleeve as seen in 1st attachment that fits inside the 63 trunk light base for $15. I also have the complete assembly including light base, wire, connector, bulb and attaching screw as seen in 2nd attachment, very nice condition and tested for $40. I have sold 3 of the mercury switch assemblies since my reply and am down to my last working, tested light assembly. Kim, I have not heard from you and will hold this last one till EOD today (Monday, March 7) in case you still need one.
