I have a Caddy 472 built by MTS along with an MTS rebuilt TH400 that has a Switch Pitch converter installed.

I was originally going to install it in my 65 Deville drop top but went another direction.

The intake is an Edellbrock with the lettering ground off to look stock. The carb is a 750
Shaft rocker system. Full support - 1.70 ratio rockers
MTS VT#10-st Cadillac performance camshaft
HEI Distributor

New AC compressor is on the motor.

The engine currently has a custom serpentine belt system but could easily be put back to a stock style V-belts.

Engine/Tranny is in Northern California

$9,500

Sounds like a sweet, street able motor. If it came from their machine shop in CA it is surely a good deal.

Greg,

Thanks, I just figured that I would put it up for sale if someone needed it as like you said, it is a very good deal.

I actually already have my next project, a 63 Suburban. If I still have the 472, I will stuff it into the Suburban when I start that project.

So then I would have: A Caddy running a Chevy motor/tranny and a Chevy running a Caddy motor/tranny!!

Of course I also keep looking for a pristine 68 Eldo with a blown motor!
