Lost it? Check the history, click it, it's there. Spam, trash, other folders? It's really hard to 'lose' an email.

Depending whether you have Thunderbird, Outlook or webmail you should be able to do a search with such keywords Cadillac and rim.
Enjoy life - it has an expiration date.
