Can anyone identify the manufacturer of these valve covers for a 500' engine. I have been unable to locate through my internet searches. I have a new set of plain cast covers, but I like these a lot better.

Wow! I expected $400-$500 at the outside, but you're right, they go for $612. I have a set of very heavy duty cast aluminum ones on the engine, brand new, so if I can sell mine for about $300 maybe I'll go for the finned ones. Thanks for the info. Surprised I could not find them on the net when I punched in Cadillac 500" aluminum valve covers.

Call Cadillac high performance in California or the other place in Albuquerque, I think you’ll find them for a little less.

Where did that style start?    I'm assuming late 50's early 60's Corvette?

The Offenhauser valve covers were the first I recall as having the desirable looking fins, Chevy of course.

Cadillac High Performance has these for $435.

Breather holes are additional.

Well, crap, they say out of stock until April of '20...  Hmmm, that's confusing.

The seller is the same person as the original poster. Probably posted to get an idea on what to ask for his parts.

That's me posting my new covers for sale, as noted they cost $440 and I'll take $300 for them. I like the Cadillac script a lot better than the blank covers.

Not bad, but I'd really prefer a Flathead Ford with three Strombergs and Edelbrock heads under any hood.
