We are in possession of a 1940 LaSalle V8 Block as shown in picture attached. We do not know much about it and are trying to find a home for it for a friend. Found your club online and are looking for someone who may have an interest in it. Would hate to see it scrapped. We are located in Lititz PA.

Was it tested for Cracks? It's common with these blocks and hard to find a good on, and that might be the reason why it's sitting around. Hard to sell one of these without that being an issue.

My advice to Ed...
DON"T buy ANY block that hasn't been magnafluxed & inspected by a competent shop.
