The valve covers have no dings, they have surface rust but I don't think there would be any visible pits after cleaning and painting.  I can e-mail photos if interested.

On either side of the top of the rear fins, in front of the tail lights there are two, curved, long, triangle shaped pieces(one on either side of the top of the tail fin) that are secured with studs from the inside of the trunk.  On Eldos and Fleetwoods these pieces are chromed.  On all other cars they are painted body color.  Might also be looking for a working seat switch.

If I am understanding you correctly you mean the fin cones.  I have a chrome set that needs work I sent you a PM.  No owner's manual need one for my own car.

Some 59 cars had support rods (one on either side) that run from the center of the firewall to the top of the inner fender, do you have a pair of those?  Also looking for a pair of the little wings that go on the front of the car, on either side of the gun sights, above the headlights.
