62 CDV

I am thinking about undertaking the replacement of the rear main seal in my '62 CDV myself. My research until now has consisted of scrutinizing the shop manual and the (now) mandatory comparing and contrasting of YouTube videos regarding the subject.

Does anyone here have any tips and/or tricks regarding this subject in order to possibly insure a successful outcome of this work? I'd like to avoid the immense frustration of finishing the work and seeing oil still leaking from the seal.

Thanks in advance for the due diligence.
