Title: 1941 replacement window tracks?
Post by: VooDoo on January 31, 2013, 12:30:08 AM
I not sure exactly what these are called but they are the "window tracks" that are mounted to the inside of the doors on either side of the window that the felt channel attaches to. They are u shaped about 3/4" Mine are rusted to dust I need to find some replacements. Anyone know if there is a universal replacemnet or a place to get them. Heck even the proper name of these pieces would be a start. :) Thanks

The actually channel is probably available from metal suppliers, or reasonably easy to get folded up, the correct parts usually have brackets attached to hold in the right position and they could easily be made but there must be lots still in wrecking yards or guys on this forum with spare ones.
