I have the first set of '41 Cadillac Hood springs from my vendor and I am bringing these to the GN and dropping off w/Ed Cholakian for a tryout to confirm that they perform as the they should.
Once confirmed, I will get a run of these made. For now, just the springs (P/N 1442752), but I plan to offer the complete assembly with links and retainers along w/the springs. These are made in the USA, Metro Detroit.

Did they work?
I am picking up the spring assemblies tomorrow and will update this post with photos. I provided Ed at All Cads the 1st one and it worked great.
These will be available off my website.

David,
What models of 1941 Cadillac do your springs fit? I do not find PN 1442752 in my 1942, 1949, and 1959 MPB's.
Bob Schuman
I too cannot find any numbers starting 14427 relating to any 1941 springs?
The spring asm is 1442693 for the RH and 1442694 for the LH. The 1442752 is the spring only. At the time I posted this, all that was done was the spring. I went to the vendor today and he had everything done, except assembling everything together. So I requested him to finish it up. They should be done next week.
Attached is screen shot of the part print which also has all the component part numbers listed and those don't show up in the master parts list. In the red block area, the models are noted and it looks like these would have been the springs for '41 LaSalle's.

Finally, the springs are done.
These are new hood spring assembles for the right and left side. From the 1956 master parts, these are the models they fit:
41-61,62 exc. CC; 41-63, 75; 42-75; 46- 75; 47-75; 48-75;1948 CC; 49-75.
Car set is $475 plus shipping.
I have 8 car sets available for immediate shipment.
David
I modified the price by $75, so a car set of springs is $475.

Hi David, how would i purchase a set of these from you? and does this specific assembly work on my 1941 Cadillac series 63?

According to the master parts list, these fit a series 63 in 1941.
Send me a email at dking92747@aol.com and we can work out the details. I am listed in the CLC directory and contact info is there as well.
Regards
David
