Wish someone would repro these. They all leak sooner or later.

I've got an excellent one off a convertible 1964 parts car I pulled in last year. Top pull down worked absolutely flawlessly.  I was thinking about installing the entire assembly on my 64 CDV but have just sold the pull down cable to someone that needed it more than I do.

Price is $35 and can ship 2 to 3 day priority in USA for $7 for a total of $42.

If interested email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com or send PayPal payment to jasonedge@nc.rr.com and will have it on the way priority tomorrow.

G'day Jason,

Thanks for that.   Consider it sold.

It has to come to Australia, so if you can get the total, I will do the rest.

I received email from Bruce early this morning that is friend needing the pull down had already found one.  So... I have this one for sale and all other components from the nice, working setup I just pulled in, except the pull down cable. I've got several other complete sets also minus the pull down cable including the pull down bracket that welds in the right front trunk floor pan, and the rear latch assembly and bracket that is welded to trunk back wall, both of which you would need to convert over to the power release/pull down option. These are from 63 & 64 Cadillacs and some items such as the pull down cylinder span out to several other years. If you need something email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com  Jason.

Jeff, isn't this a picture of the 69-70 electric truck lid release latch? The 62-68 unit were vacuum. I believe Bruce needed the hydraulic damper which attaches to the inner wheel well and connects to the pull down cable on the trunk floor of the car. HTH, Jeff

G'day Jeff,

Yes, Jeff is correct.   I was after the hydraulic cylinder, but as the person found one himself, and didn't let me know, I now no longer require it.

Bruce. >:D

PS.  Hopefully mine doesn't go bung any time soon.
