A 55 series 62 Sedan I found for sale not mine !

Came across this car which seems to be a good price, thought it may be of interest to members? Only $13k in what seems from the pictures good condition, but no actual info on the car supplied.

Hope its not against rules to post as it a dealer selling ?

Something not quite right with this advert. A Ford dealer selling it???   not only that but at a paltry $13000. What? for a car with only 4200 miles? and as you say Mr Driscoll, no info at all???  Too good to be true maybe?

Steve, that car is on their web site under used cars. The dealership is in South Portland Maine. Interesting, some one here that would be interested should give them a call the open at 8:30 EST. if some one does call should let us know the story.

I believe this car in question was already discussed here around last August or so.  Same dealer . . . they've obviously had it for awhile.

I called months ago and tried to get info on the car.  Dealer was rude to me and refused to tell me anything.  Said, "No offense, but..."  As you might imagine the next words out of his mouth were fairly offensive.  I wrote it off after that...

Looks like a good car, although my first impression of the bland white paint job was "Moby Dick". Might be worth putting up with a little rudeness from the seller. You can always return the favor after the sales contract's signed.

I find this a bit curious - I notice that this car has the same "ejection seat lever" (Kelsey Hayes trailer brake lever) that is being discussed in the other forum - perhaps this car has found a new home with one of our members

If the interior is correct (and everything else), and one was "interested," I'd call them, ask to speak to the dealer principal, (Car dealer speak) and tell him in a firm voice that the last time (someone) tried to get info on the car last summer, they were treated rudely. Tell him that you are interested in the car and want details. Or if he doesn't want to sell the car, to go jump in the lake.

If they don't sell for a cash deal of $1500 off, after having it that long, I'd be greatly mistaken. It's not that bad looking for the $$$.
