My wife is digging around on the internet again and so I was sent this picture. She wanted to know if this is a Cadillac part that was adapted to another car. What do you think?

Moderators, feel free to delete this if you don't think it's a Cadillac part.
I just thought it's funny that someone would even bother with this.

I don't think Cadillacs ever had the black doody on the upper side. It looks like something from J.C. Whitney. And I'll let Bruce decide on the delete.

Sure that isn't a Cadillac part, that was a popular accessory back in the day form JC Whitney and others, although I have never seen one on an AMC car.

Yes, I know it's not a Cadillac part. I was being facetious. Looking for smart a$$ replies.
Sorry it didn't work as planned. Just wanted a laugh or two out of it.

Bruce, you can delete this now if you want.

Just to show you that anything from a Cadillac can be adapted to another car.

I saw this at Pioneer Auto Show in 2002 as I was driving to the Dearborn CLC GN.  (Cadillac Centenary).   I had to wonder if I had missed something.   Probably would have done better than the other tries by Cadillac at running a small car.

Bruce, that's just not right! Lol!! It's one thing to adapt a part, but to use the name? That's blasphemy!!

Terrific sense of humor... had to work hard to get well deserved laughs.  A parody in chrome!

You know that the Pacer is just a Gremlin with an extreme case of bad gas or constipation, right?

Or the perfect example of a blivet. Everyone knows what a blivet is. 10lbs of crap in a 5lb bag. Lol!!

Now here's a true Cadillac accessory that I'd love to have. Another find from my wife.

It's a 12 passenger wagon with a glass top, or at least part of the top anyway.
