Hello,
Just joined your group.
Tomorrow, if all goes well I will have a 1937 LaSalle 4 door sedan instead of the '27 Willys-Knight sedan I now have.

My question is, will doors from any other GM model/make fit a '37 LaSalle or are they exclusive to this year/model?  The bottoms of the doors are rusty and would be expensive to repair.

Any help supplied is appreciated.

Thank you,

Craig

It is probable that 1937/1938 Buick Special/Century; Olds, and Pontiac will fit. Some may have belt molding holes to fill, but as long as the belt crease is the same, you should be OK. BOP interchange had ended (I think) but GM took the theory to heart, and made doors, trunk lids, and even rear fenders interchange easily in the late 1930s. Good luck.

The Hollander manual says that only 1937 LaSalle and 1937 Cadillac series 60 are the same. But I agree with Barry there is a good chance that other Fisher Bodies of 1937 and maybe 38 will work. Warren
