Is there a 2.5" whitewall for a '60 Biarritz?

I have a 60 Biarritz that is wearing firestone 235 75r15s with 2.5" whitewalls.  The tires need to be replaced and I can't find 2.5" WWs in my size.   There are 2 7/8", 3", 3 1/8, and larger WWs available.

I have three questions:

1.  Are there quality 2.5" WWs available and from who?
2.  Are there pics of a 59 or 60 Biarritz with the American Classic 3 1/8?
3. Is the 3 1/8 WW just too "much" for a 60 Biarritz?

Many thanks,

Roger

The correct whitewall width for the 1960 cars is 2 1/4".

I have yet to see a 2 1/4" - 2 1/2" in a radial 235/75R/15.  I've only seen them in the 185-205 range.

That said, I have only seen 2 1/4-2 1/2 on the US Royal and BFG 820-15 bias plys.

Diamondback Classics will make a whitewall tire in any width you need.  I have 2.25" whitewalls on 235/75x15's on my '61.

That's good to know.  Do they upcharge for the special order?

No extra fees at Diamondback.  They have their catalog on-line.
