Does anyone know what style of carpet my 1970 Deville had when new?  Was it a loop or cut pile, or did the buyer have a choice?

Thanks to all,
Jeff

Jeff,

Cut pile was used on ’66 and ’71 Coupe DeVilles. I’d say it’s reasonable to assume the same for 1970.

My 70 Fleetwood has cut pile. I would assume that this would hold true for the deVilles as well. No carpet choices were available outside colour.

My 70 is a DeVille convertible and the carpet is cut pile. Im just now pitching the carpet from an old 70 convetible that I junked a few years ago. It too, is  cut pile.
