76 eldo fi running rough

have 76 eldo convt 500 w fi, seems to be running rough like 7cylinders , so far i have checked fuel 22psi igniiton/aprox  32 running, all plugs fireing/checkw with timimg light/ cap rotor seem fine-all injectors are pusling/ there is a temp sender in head that is not connected on pass /near alt no wire near by ?,there is also noise(like connecting rod bearing) inside dist/ not weights, seems to be coming from box where injectors get pulse on dist shaft  has any had experience with injector pulse box  drives  ok with slight lope but not backfireing- any help appreciated vaccume lines seem to be visually ok

You might have a failing timing chain set; all of that generation must be replaced.  Check the slack. 
Any bad noises need to be tracked down & fixed.  I think one of those distributors is on E*ay now,

Your fuel pressure should go to 39 PSI when you turn on the key; it may drop to 35 or 30 when the
engine is running.

If his fuel pressure is low compared to the numbers given, could the noise be the result of a lean fuel mixture from a lack of fuel?

Check compression first dont want to investigate timming chain slack until all other options are exhausted
