Hello everyone. How can the headlight lenses be cleaned so they don't have the old yellow look? Can it be done by polishing? Thanks... John Lehman... CLC # 26365...

Classic

The original lenses were clear glass and can be cleaned with soap and water and scrub brush.  I've never heard of them becoming yellow with age.  Are you sure these are the original lenses?  There should be a 6 digit number cast into the flange of the lens.  There may have been some aftermarket yellow/amber lenses.  If you are talking about the reflectors instead of the lenses, they can be cleaned by gently using some silver polish.

Hello everyone. Should have been more specific. Original lenses but they have a not-as-clear-as glass look to them. Not sparkling crystal clear. Sort of a yellow hue. Will try to polish with MAAS polish. Thanks...  John Lehman... CLC # 26365...
