Hello, I need a pair (left and right) of 2 1/4 inches door hinge mounted mirrors to fit my 1937 Cadillac sedan. Many thanks for any help.

Way, way, WAY back in the mimeograph days of the Self Starter, I believe there was an article that suggested using "Bug"  VW hinge mirrors. As popular as the original Bugs were, surely some of these mirrors are still around. This was back in the day when "anything close" was better than nothing. Hope this helps.

Many thanks Barry, I will look into that. But they must be 2 1/4 inches spacing for the hinge post.

Well they arrived and look very good. One problem though is that the pins are too small in diameter. I have heard the correct mirrors could have been purchased for Buick. I think I can drill the holes larger for the larger pins if I can find them.

For those of us still in need, my good friend Steve told me the pins are still availble from Bobs Automobilia, find him on Google. his part numbers are  HP-293BL for the 2 1/2"  and HP 423 for the 4" both are .342"  4" are best and cut to length.
His complete mirrors are M-32.

The ones in the link Harvey are for Fords and no good for GM. Ty made that mistake.    Mine are from 'Bob Automobilia'  His part number for complete mirrors with pins is M32.  Look him up on Google.
