Does anyone know of a good source for windshield replacement near San Diego, CA?

Hi James,

The glass is plain flat safety glass, available at any auto glass place.

I got the replacement rubber for my 1941 Series 75 from Steele Rubber Products, and it worked very well.  My friend has a '41 Series 67, and he had to do some trimming to get the rubber to fit precisely.  How easily it goes in may depend on which body style your car is.

Check Steele's catalog - it's online at their website.

A number of people on the forum have replaced their own windshields and can give you pointers.  It's not rocket science, but the split windshields on GM cars of that era are different from what the average modern auto glass outfit encounters, and it takes some attention and care.

Hope that helps.
