Lug Nuts for 59?

Cadillac Nut

Where can I get passenger side lug nuts, for a '59.  Passenger side is reverse thread.  I see lug nuts all over, and I got new DR (left hand thread) ones,  but I can't figure out which are reverse thread, most places don't say.  Anyone got a part number, for Dorman or any other company?

Usually, the Reverse Thread nuts will have a ring machined into the circumference of the flats, half way between the inner and outer ends of the flat.

This "ring" or Groove will only hit the outside edges of the flats where they abut the adjacent flat.

Ibn 1960 Cadillac changed to all Right Hand Threads.

Interesting that even Doorman's own site does not seem to list em.   There are some that have an L in the part number which makes you think there would also be a R version but I didn't see it.

Are you sure about the passenger side having LH lug studs and nuts?????
The driver's side has traditionally been LH and the passenger side RH.
This has been discussed here in the past, where many with 59's opted to make all studs RH.
Why, because when they took their cars into the local tire shops the "kids" with the 18 wheeler strong air impact wrench spun the threads off the studs trying to take the LH nuts off - lefty loosey.
But if you search the internet - Google, you can find tons of possibilities and obscure parts dealers who may still have a handful of OEM left - that is what I did.
Wrecking yards are also a good source as well - which I have also done.

You are right, Steve...RH side has RH thread; LH side has LH thread.
According to the tracking number, you got the '57 book. It's OK?

Yea, right, passenger side is right hand (normal) thread.  Was late when I typed that.    I actually found some at my local auto parts store,  have yet to install though.  I noticed the same thing with Dorman, no right had listed.  Still want to find a few originals, for both sides.
