This is not mine, just passing on the work.  Expensive but it looks very nice.  Do you really think it could have only 7k on it?

I have a BEAUTIFUL Eldo here with a reliable 5.7L Caddy V8. The odometer reads just over 7,000 miles and I believe it. Everything about this car tells me it has been babied or sat in a garage, covered for a long time. I recently acquired it and had the kinks worked out of the fuel injection system so she's running strong. It still needs an EGR valve (the one on it doesn't fit) and I've been told by the head fuel injection technician for Cadillac Club of America that it is easy to switch out with an Olds Toronado. This car is in such immaculate condition the seats still have plastic in the cracks from the original covering coming out of the factory. If you want a beautiful ride, strong engine and a car that gets LOADS of attention for WAY UNDER book value for the condition, this is your ride. I'm sure the first person to drive the car will buy it, and be completely happy with the purchase. Give me a call or email for more pictures.

I checked out the listing and let him know he neede to list a number since he referenced it in the ad. Here it is:

He emailed me more photos.  If anyone is interested I'll forward them to you or I guess you can just contact him yourself.

Other than dirty floor mats, the car looks as clean inside as it does outside.

All,
I'm the one who initially listed this Eldo Biarritz a number of months ago.  As I continued to try to get everything running perfectly I've realized I'm not as mechanically inclined as I'd hoped and it's having issues!  I'm about to keep working on it, as I've had a hard time getting it started and after working through ignition parts (needed a new Ignition Module and/or capacitor) it started up and stalled out again.  That was about a month ago and I still don't have it started.  Granted, I've not put much time into it, but I've got spark and no start.  Checked the plugs, it's getting fuel.  Any advice?

Also, all said and done, I'm looking to sell the car in the next couple months.  I'm headed overseas in March and would like to get the garage cleaned out before I go.  I've realized that it's probably a 107,000 mile car, as the paint job is not original.  I've put a lot of money into the car, and whomever had it before me put even more into it.  I'm willing to consider any reasonable offer.  Please send an email to dougieboy_bardin@hotmail.com or call at (518) 791-9688.  Thanks!

I had the same problem with a 79 Eldo at about the point I was selling, it became hard to start and then wouldn't start for the new owner.  It ended up being injector problems (which caused a fire do to his incessant cranking of the car).

I've wondered about injectors but haven't wanted to spend the money on them without being confident that's the issue.  Is there any way to check their condition fairly easily?

Also, anyone at all interested in the car let me know.  I have plenty of pictures.

Great, I'll get some up here as soon as I can.  Also, do you have an email I could send a bunch of them to?

Thank you.  I sent some that way.  All others, I'm afraid I cannot get them loaded on the forum but I am more than happy to send them out to anyone who sends me an email @ dougieboy_bardin@hotmail.com.  Again, thanks for the interest.

ALL,
The car has been listed on ebay with no reserve price.  It's a pity but I'm afraid I'm out of time on this fix.  I hope the buyer will take care of her...
