Does anyone have Master Parts Book earlier than 1950 with the Group #'s 51 to 55 accessories section at the back? Or an accessory book earlier than 1950. Thanks.

What exactly are you looking for?  I have 3 parts books:

An original Body Parts List dated 1942 but marked as updated to June 1 1947.  Group numbers are B1, B3, B5, B6, B7, and B8.

A reprint of Master Body Parts List that seems to list up through 1947.  Group numbers are 31, 33, 34 through 38.

A reprint of a Master Chassis Parts List dated 1947 with group numbers 1 -14, 17 â€" 20, 22 and 25.

None of them list an accessories section.

I also have on CD a May 1, 1950 Master Parts; Chassis Parts Section from Detroit Iron.  It has an Accessories section with groups 51 through 55.  But you did ask for earlier than 1950, so I don’t know if that will help you or not.

Hi Glen,
I corrected my post. It is groups 51 to 55. I have most of the same books you have including a 1950. So... They won't help. I suspect the accessory book was maybe a supplement in the earlier years. Another member has a 49 which he's going to check for me. Anyone else??
Thanks, Bob

Bob - I have an original Cadillac Master Parts List book with an accessory section titled " Cadillac Accessories Section " ,  "Cadillac Exclusive Accessories Group 51.0000 " , " Replacement Parts For Accessories Group 53.0000 thru 55.0000" The section is numbered pages 1159 -1227 and lists parts from groups 51-55. It contains mostly parts from the 50's but some go back to the 40's . If the part ( such as a radio switch or radio button ) was available in both 40's and 50's vehicles , they are listed together . I didn't see anything listed in the 40's unless the part was  available in the 50's as well. If you think this will help you , let me know and I'll try to look up what info you need . Paul & Jeff,
I'm trying to find a part # that's been superceded by the book I have. 1950. I received a PM from a friend with a 49 book. Same as my 50. It looks like a book from 46 or maybe 42 would do it. I've never even seen one that early. I have both chassis & body books that early, but they don't have an accessories section. Thanks to all who responded so far.
