Anyone have an idea of a replacement for a ac compressor over heat switch on a 75 Eldorado.  There is no part number on the part so no reference to go by.

This is a part that has a minuscule failure rate. Good/Bad. Good because they don't need replacement, bad because they quit making them a while back.  The idea is that you are supposed to take the switch out of your old compressor, add a new o-ring and reinstall the switch in the new compressor. Lots of folks just don't use the switch which is a bad idea because when the system runs short of refrigerant, the SUPERHEAT goes up and the switch blows the compressor circuit fuse BEFORE the compressor runs out of oil and self destructs. You might find the switch on one of the marketplace sites. If not PM me, I have a few.
