A friend is restoring a 1939 LaSalle and has an interesting question. The car came to him with the suspension components painted red. Is this colour factory correct for 1939? Thanks for any light you can shed on this matter.
Seen that done a lot on Packards but my money is on black from the factory. It is in all the production line shots I've ever seen anyway.
