just wondering where I can get a set of spark plug wires for a 1941 61 series. Doesn't have to be time period exact just looking to get this thing going for now. Didn't know if Pepboys or NAPA might have something that would work. Any thoughts? I'm still learning about these cars so forgive the ignorance.

I would not have thought it necessary to go to another country for spark plug wires, I bet the wire and fittings are available from any NAPA store.

Most of what I've seen on 41's (including on the winning cars at GN) is the black, lacquered type wire with the uncovered metal ends where they attach to the spark plug.  I think my last set came from McVey's, but they are available from other sources.  I've included a picture here.  I've seen the cloth/braided type coverings, but I think those were used more in earlier cars.  Hopefully your wire holders (attached to the upper aspect on either side of the exhaust manifold at the cross-over) are in good shape.  If not, you'll want to get a set of those or your new wires won't last long.
