This is a luxury auto we are talking about here that was completely redesigned every two years or so. Both interiors are valuable in their own right. If you cut, bend , or otherwise damage the 1956 interior pieces, they will lose their value. Value that you might have received if you sold the 1956 pieces to pay for the correct interior for the 1960.

They are two completely different bodies and most likely will not fit anywhere near correctly.

If, as I surmise, you have only the springs left from the 1956 and don't have ones from the 1960, if the 1956 ones are from a convertible, they would be vastly different due to the top iron "cutouts" on each side.

This definitely doesn't sound feasible without your posting more details on why you wish to do this. You might have more luck with seats from a 1959-60 Buick Electra 225 which is the same body. Can you give us some more details about why you want to do this? Best of luck in any case.

I doubt. As Barry wrote, the body is entirely different; you are dealing with 2 car's generations separated by another one: 54-56 is one, 57-58 a second one and 59-60 a third one!
