I'm winding down on the pictures posting for the 2014 Grand National and have posted many pictures covering 1910 to 1949 Cadillacs I the following photo album including some close-ups as you see below at this link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.750715208285224.1073741869.121748834515201&type=1

While, my passion and concentration is the 1963 and 1964 Cadillac in which I serve as Chapter Director, it is great to attend a Grand National and take in the beauty, elegance and sophistication of all Cadillacs and LaSalles.  For me this was the best Grand National yet!

Thanks Brian, It is my pleasure to share the local scenery, and automobiles thru the lense of my camera, however, it is only a glimpse into how much fun a Grand National really is.  The interaction between members is priceless and really hard to capture with a still picture or even video.  For example you could not walk through the Lobby or out onto the show field without getting into in depth conversations with other CLC members that share our passion for these great automobiles.  There truly were no quick trips through that Lobby regardless if it was 7am or midnight!

I do hope the pictures and video will help convey that the Grand National is so much more than a car show!  In addition to showing and rewarding the Cadillacs and LaSalles on the show field, I would also have to say that meeting up with the Cadillac Family, making new friends, and checking out the local Hosting Region's attractions and scenery, are also key ingredients of the Grand National.

Back to the pictures and video, I do hope to post the awards banquet video to the CLC YouTube channel by this weekend.   I will probably break it up into 2 sections: the individual awards and car awards as I have done the last two years.  For the techies out there I took 45 GB of 1080p HD video on my Canon Rebel T4i DSLR alone! I believe the picture count was well over 2000!  I am told I get my picture taking from grandmother who had her Polaroid 210 everywhere she went!
