Trying to get an idea of who is selling good quality hood insulation.
The piece on my 76 CdV is getting a little tired.

Got mine from USA Parts Supply, $50, its perfect.
OPGI is another source. Similar price. Make sure you use whatever sale "code" appears on the homepage at checkout.
On my '70, the original hood insulation has a pre-molded part on the front where it "seals" against the radiator bulkhead, so air is funneled through the radiator.
I haven't seen any aftermarket hood insulation that has that. I'd love to find one that has that as mine, sometime in the past, suffered damage when something happened with the a/c, as there is a pretty good hole/cut right by the pulley area.
I'll post a pic later of what I'm talking about.
Not sure if the later models had this feature on their hood insulation or not.
The molded type is what I am looking for. FEN used to sell them

For my '58 they came from an older gentlemen in Washington or Oregon. They were perfect can't remember name, maybe someone else will?
Was the name Cooper?
Can't remember. They are covered with black vinyl, bound on the edges, nice
For my 1963, my hood insulation came from McVey's. They advertise in every other issue of The Self-Starter.
