Title: !940 LaSalle series 50 fuel fill assembly
Post by: gary griffin on December 09, 2013, 08:56:29 PM
I need a 1940 LaSalle series 50 gas tank to gas cap assembly including hose and cap. Somehow mine was lost while the tank was out being refurbished.

For some reason I am betting no response on this post. It would seem that since so many were produced that they would be laying around in someones shop??

I recently learned from Eddie Jones that the fuel filler I need could also come from a 1939 to 1942 series 61 Cadillac.

Any assistance would be appreciated,

That looks like the fuel filler is on the wrong side for 1940, My 1940 60 series which should be the same as La Salle had the filler on the left hand side, the ebay tank has it on the right.  I dismantled a 1941 61 series years ago, may still have the neck. hose can be bought anywhere. Dont have a cap.
