Title: Spare tire wooden "wedge"
Post by: "Cadillac Kid" Greg Surfas 15364 on October 06, 2015, 01:36:07 PM
I just found a couple of original spare tire wooden wedges used to keep the tire in place and quiet. They are both the same and I know one came out of my 66 and one from my 72 eldo, so I would have to guess they are all the same at least between these years.  Make me an offer.

The wedge was used in front of a tire, to keep the car from rolling, when on the bumper jack. They seem to be the same for a lot of years. If they are not split or tore up they would be nicee for someones restoration. Ken Perry

That was my thought.  Aside from being dusty they are essentially un marred.
