Title: speeometer squeek?

anybody know a trick to kill the squeal, ive lubed under engine bay but cant get queit inside car

G'day Charles,

Firstly, you have received an email from the Moderators that requires your attention.   Failure to do so will result in your posts being removed.   Can't get much plainer than that.

Now, back to the subject.   

You have to remove the speedo cable from the Speedo, and then carefully pull the inner cable out, clean it, re-grease it, and reinstall.

If that doesn't work, then the speedo will have to be removed, and lubricated internally, with very small amounts of watch-makers oil on the bearings.
