Hi Harry, I wonder if you have any un faded cloth from the upholstery? A good spot might be towards the rear of the rear cushion around the rear quarter windows. Also, my 41-6733I had un faded carpet way up under the junction of the jump seats. This is for historical research, not for any car restoration. Swatches about 5x7" would be great. Let me know by e-mail. Thanks, Barry.

Hi Barry, The parts car has a SO data plate and the interior seems to be the tan heavy duty patterned type used in livery cars. The 6733 I'm restoring has an interior code of 78 which is Tan Heather cloth. I was able to get a small piece for Bill Hirsch to match up which he did perfectly. I just got that  car back from the upholstery shop. I didn't think to save any of the original cloth or any of the carpet. The carpeting as I recall was all pretty well stained even under the jump seats. The carpeting was almost the same material and color as the cloth interior (maybe a little  heavier) and was glued to rubber matting about 1/2 thick and attached by snaps.     Harry

Harry, I have started thinking about the 1947 Series 61 that Lars is selling. When I had my first 41-6127 I wanted chrome windshield moldings, and didn't walk over to the 1942 Series 67 sitting twenty feet from the car I took some stuff off of in Hammond, IN. By chance, are yours still good?

Harry
What is the interior code on your parts car?  This is starting to sound similar to 41 tan and blue pattern cloth that I have never been able to find. Some PO removed all trace of this unique interior on my car.  My code in question is 1329.

Thanks!
Paul

Barry, The windshield stainless is all there and in good condition.
Paul, The only thing on the data plate is the SO number. The cloth material was tan (no hint of blue) and had a rough or heavy raised rectangular pattern. The size of the rectangles were about 3/16". I think it was pretty common for the working cars that got a lot of use.    Harry

Paul, I meant to say "triangles" instead of rectangles in the description of the cloth pattern. Sorry,    Harry
