I am looking at a used 99 Concours with 70kmi. It has in history these codes: PO 440, P 1599, C 1227, v 1300. I only go up to 1994 on codes...can anyone here de-code these? I have never really liked this body style...but after driving one I thought they were alot of car for the money.

P0440 - Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System
P1599 - Engine Stall or Near Stall Detected
C1227 - Left Rear Excessive Wheel Speed Variation
U1300 - Class 2 Short to Ground

I love my 99 DeVille.  Yes, a lot of car.  Quite a zippy thing, and comfortable, too.  I have one with 100,000 miles that NEVER had a SINGLE PROBLEM.  Always 100percent reliable.  Consider yourself lucky to find one with such low milage.
