I am new to the club.  Just want to say hello and introduce my '61 Coupe Deville.  It has been slightly modified, but is mostly original as far as I can tell.  The Odo shows 93K miles.  It appears that that might be actual mileage.  It's really hard to tell on a car this old, but it has been well cared for in any event.  The paint on the engine is bright blue, so it has at least been repainted, if not rebuilt.  The motor has been modified with a Edelbrock carb and a Mallory ignition pickup to replace the points.  It starts and drives really well.
It has a couple of issues that I will address in the technical section.

Best wishes to all.

Hi Jim. Welcome to the CLC! That is a fine looking 1961 Coupe de Ville and hope to one day see the car and you in person at one of our Grand Nationals or Driving Tours!
