A friend told me Cadillac is coming back with the CT6 for 2025. When I google, I find it in China. Anyone know if its going to be offered here also?
I was at a dealer yesterday, thier take is NO.
Sorry Tony, the new one is China only and it will not meet US spec.
I am saddened to hear that the production is only in China. I will probably keep my 2016 CT6 platinum. If I am forced to buy something, I will probably purchase a Genesis G90. A little bit of me will die, knowing I am forced to buy an overseas car, because Cadillac has failed me
One of the major issues that has emerged with all these vehicles being built in China is the Information Gathering capabilities.
Remember when Onstar was a feature of Cadillac? They could start your car from thousands of miles away? Well, the problem has just got a lot worse with all cars carrying internal cameras and Satellites covering all the sky.
My HEI Ignition vehicles with no computers are looking really good, and still drive beautifully.
Bruce. >:D

Honestly Tony, the G90's are super nice cars IMO, and most likely be more of a
"Cadillac" in respect to its luxury feel, elegance, size, quality and riding comfort than your CT6 could ever be. Plus they have a nice air ride suspension and from what many reviews have to say, the car is very soft to drive. Whats crazy is that there's a long-wheelbase version that is only sold in China, that has even nicer features than the standard one here in the U.S. The LWB version has a Fleetwood esque look to it, which just adds more to the cars sophistication and higher level of luxury.
The Genesis brand has improved tremendously in all categories over the last several years when it comes to them being a true player in the luxury car market. In many ways there styling is imposing, elegant and has a distinctive look to them unlike some of the other luxury makes which honestly, specifically Mercedes, there styling has took a hard downward fall lately as they look horrendously ugly, plain and boring.
The only concern with Hyundai/Kia brand is their long term reliability. But they have made great strides in that category as well, so hopefully the G90 will be trouble free if you do decide to buy one.
Thank you all for the good information. The G90 sure is impressive looking
Hi Tony,
I still have my 2017 CT6...only 39000 miles! Great car. Hard to believe it's 7 years old.
Hope you are well.
Dennis
Good to hear from you Dennis. My CT6 has 82000 miles on it. It is in the body shop now for a fender bender, they left the remote in the car, the battery went dead, they charged it, it won't turn over now, they were bringing in a Cadillac tech last night so they can try to finish it and get it back to me
