Watched "Shadow of a Doubt" on TCM last night. Had to watch the whole movie before positively seeing a Cadillac or LaSalle. Joseph Cotten was carried to his rest in a 1941 hearse. I thought there might have been a 37/38 LaSalle in a street scene but it flashed by too quickly. And there may have been a 1939 Series 61 or LaSalle shortly thereafter. I thought the hood vent looked like a '39.

"Uncle Charlie" is a true Hitchcock "Man you love to hate." (Maybe #2 after Dan Duryea.)

(We haven't talked about old movies for a while...)
